He should, but he won't. I don't see him quitting golf - he's got that elusive Jack Nicklaus 18 staring him in the face. If it was a choice between winning 5 more majors (he has 14, 5 more and he would surpass Nicklaus) and his marriage to Elin, I think he's gonna pick golf. Sad, but very true. To abstract it out: If you are a man or woman and you are doing things that put your relationship in jeopardy taking a step back from those things for a period of time makes sense. I'm not saying that playing golf makes Tiger sniff around (pun intended) but I would agree that not playing golf would force him to focus on other things, like his family life. With that said, can you really imagine Tiger quitting golf?? I could see taking a year off - a hiatus to "get his priorities straight" but quitting altogether? I don't see that happening.
